HAPPY NEW YEAR for 2010. Its going to be a GREAT YEAR.

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

This past season has been one of the best Blue Marlin seasons I have ever had. It was Absolutely Brilliant.
The highlight for me was my daughter Katherine with her first fish and releasing a potential World Record. She showed amazing ability. It was my best day ever.
I want to take this opportunity to thank all those anglers who have fished with me over the years and wish them a Very Happy 2010. It is going to be a Great Year.

Claire with her 50 lb WAHOO

Sunday, November 8th, 2009

Claire got her second wahoo but earned it the hard way after a 1:1/2 hour battle on 20 lb.
The fish was hooked in the corner of the jaw and gave the young lady the fight of her life.img_4989

MADEIRA SEASON GETS BETTER

Saturday, August 29th, 2009

This is now the end of August and the season is getting better. This is fantastic and like seasons 15 years ago. it looks like it will go well into September and this was not unheard of back when MADEIRA got started as the hottest destination for Giant Atlantic Blues. Thing is there has been no real peak in the bite but a steady stream of fish with hardly a day that goes by when a fish is not caught or seen. And the average size at the moment is very good. 7/900 the norm.
