This is the second fish for Arend-Jan and it is over 600 but his first was a good 900 on the “KATHERINE B”. We spoke today of the economics and the world situation. His reply was, “I have heard there is a recession going on but I am not going to take part in it at all”. How profound is that. Shortly after he caught this magnificent Blue Marlin. Does good luck come to you or do you make it happen. I believe you do make it happen.

TWO for TWO
Monday, June 1st, 2009“KATHERINE B” went two for two on the first day of the bite in MADEIRA today. 600 and 900 for first time angler Ben and veteran father Mark Payton of England. The bait moved in like it has not bee n seen before this year, The mackerel are in tonnage and accompanied by some very welcome Blue Marlin. Up to now I have been worried about the outcome for this season. My worries are over !
